The Apartment
The apartment consists of :
- a large sunlit living room,
- a 10sm bedroom with a standing balcony
- a 7,5 sqm bedroom (your bedroom) with a standing balcony
- a bathroom with heated floors, which also houses well a washer and a dryer
- a main balcony overlooking at the building block's yard
- a rear standing balcony overlooking the canals.
- The rent is 7500kr Including Water and Heating, as well as Electricity & Internet
- Deposit is just one months rent 7500kr ** depending on your signing situation.
The apartment and the room comes already equipped and furnished with the all of the basics, but you can change, add, remove, and generally arrange things to your liking since this will be your apartment as well :D
The rent would be more than 8000kr if it was split down the middle, but because I am occupying the slightly larger bedroom (since it can house most of my computer equipment without turning our nice living room to a nerdy workplace)
I think it's only fair that I pay a bit more, and you pay a smaller price :)
The Apartment's renting situation so far
I used to share the apartment with my work teammate for 2 years before they moved back to France.
And for more than a year up to now, i was sharing the flat with a lovely upcoming chef, but unfortunately he also needs to move quite soon for work stuff.
While I was lucky enough so far to hold a job that allowed me to live in this place on my own for a couple of years, I had to take a corporate career break to bounce back from some stress and creative burnout, and sharing the rent with someone with a creative heart that can relate to this goal and can enjoy this place and the nice neighbourhood, would be ideal, but not necessarily required.
A bit about myself
I am George, a greek expat, 39 male, with a background in Arts, Animation and Game Design and I lived in Copenhagen for almost 14 years now.
I am mostly focused on my passion projects and work, and when I am not designing or coding or painting for the games i work on, on my desktop (which is most of the day.. ), you might find me playing quietly on the console in living room late at night, or nerdily watching films as I love deconstructing cinema and media in general
Sometimes I might engage with the occasional date to break the monotony, as well as the occasional electronic music party with my friends when the timing and circumstances are good.
I am very relaxed when it comes to house rules from my end, mainly caring about basic apartment maintenance, and some common space etiquette which we can figure out, but not much else.
You can be whoever and whatever you like, and we can agree on what rules you need me to meet from your end, for the best chemistry of “not obstructing each other's way” sort of speaking.
Good flatmate chemistry
My best case for a housemate, would be that you too have a passion for something, and that you go after it with an autonomous spark. And maybe that good energy can brush off on me as well, and vice versa.
And in that regard, whenever I can, I'll try to be supportive and share my many funny experiences and thoughts if you ever need me to.
Reaching Out
If the picture I am painting sounds interesting, throw me a message telling me a bit about yourself, and let's arrange a visit / meeting.
I intend to reply to most messages, but due to prioritization between looking for candidates and my work/life sometimes it might even take a day
